James's fund-raising for a youth recreation center to be located in Thunderbolt Georgia, near Savannah, GA. Bulk of the Collection is copies of correspondence and newspaper clippings. Some original correspondence and donor lists. B.J. James, born in 1908, is a graduate of Savannah State College and Savannah business owner. The Collection was donated with the Frank W. and Lillian Spencer Collection. Papers removed from a photo album; preservation photocopying completed.
