ERes maintains a list of department names used for adding course pages to the ERes system. Through the Manager Functions (Admin. Functions) screen the ERes Manager can add or delete department names from this list, using the "Departments lists" button.

ERes also maintains a list of department name abbreviations, which can be tailored to an individual institution's conventions during the ERes customization, or changed as necessary using the "Change dept. abbrev." button on the "Departments List" screen.
