ERIC (Educational Research Information Center), from the U.S. Department of Education, has provided access to the education literature since the 1960's. EBSCO's version provides links to some full text journal articles and also links to ERIC documents from 1990 to the present. You can also use the government's ERIC website.

Education Full Text from WilsonWeb
Though smaller than ERIC, Education Full Text can retrieve full text journal articles and article citations not found in ERIC due to better coverage of core education journals. Also covers book reviews back to 1995.

Professional Development Collection from EBSCOhost
A specialized collection of journal articles and pamphlets for professional educators that includes abstract and index coverage for 800 professional development titles and searchable full text for over 500 journals covering current topics in education.

Omnifile Full Text Mega Edition from WilsonWeb
This "mega" database is comprised of six smaller, individual, specialized databases. Full text coverage begins in January 1994.

JSTOR
A digital archive of scholarly journals in the humanities and social sciences. The collection's coverage begins with the earliest issues of these journals and continues up to a few years before current publication.

Featured Children's Books
Lane Library maintains a Children's Collection to support classes in children's literature, teaching methods, and practicum experiences. Titles are selected on the basis of recognition they have received, and their potential usefulness in the K-12 curriculum.
