Special Collections
Featured Children's Books
Lane Library maintains a Children's Collection to support classes in children's literature, teaching methods,
and practicum experiences. Titles are selected on the basis of recognition they have received, and their potential usefulness in the K-12 curriculum. They are shelved at the beginning of the Circulating Collection and have call numbers beginning with JUV. Search GIL for books in the children's collection.
For thematic book lists, see Carol Hurst's Children's Literature Site.
